Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic was the third player to qualify for Tennis Masters Cup Shanghai, following a sensational year that included four ATP titles. The Serbian will make his debut at the circuit-ending championship.

At ATP Masters Series Canada in Montreal, Djokovic became the first player since Boris Becker at Stockholm in 1994 to defeat the Top 3 players in the ATP Rankings at the same tournament (No. 3 Roddick, No. 2 Nadal and No. 1 Federer in the final).

The 20-year-old also captured the ATP Masters Series Miami title (d. Canas) and two other crowns at Adelaide (d. Guccione) and Estoril (d. Gasquet).

He finished runner-up at ATP Masters Series Indian Wells (l. to Nadal) and the US Open (l. to Federer) - his first appearance in a Grand Slam final.
