Roger Federer
Roger Federer made his Tennis Masters Cup debut in Shanghai in 2002 and will look to win his fourth crown at the circuit finale this year.
Federer has a remarkable Tennis Masters Cup record. On debut in 2002 he won all three matches in his round-robin group and then lost a classic semifinal to eventual champion Lleyton Hewitt 7-5, 5-7, 7-5.
The Swiss World No. 1 then went on to win back-to-back Tennis Masters Cup crowns in Houston in 2003-2004 without losing a match. In 2006, he was runner-up to David Nalbandian 6-7(4), 6-7(11), 6-2, 6-1, 7-6(3) over four hours and 33 minutes.
Last year he went 5-0 to clinch his third Tennis Masters Cup shield for an overall match record of 22-2.
